Pearl Harbor is a place of remembrance and national significance. Swimwear and beach attire are not permitted when boarding the Navy boat to the USS Arizona Memorial. Please dress modestly to honor this solemn site.
Hungry during your visit? Food options are available at all museums and stops. For a sit-down meal, visit Lanikai Café at the Aviation Museum, which offers a full menu. Other locations offer convenient grab-and-go snacks.
For security reasons, bags are not allowed at Pearl Harbor, as it is an active naval base. Convenient lockers are available for $3 per day, or you can bring an approved clear bag for your essentials. Plan ahead for a hassle-free experience.
For security purposes, camera lenses larger than 6 inches are not allowed at Pearl Harbor. Additionally, photography and videography are discouraged while traveling between Ford Island locations.
Swimming or entering the waters at Pearl Harbor is strictly prohibited. The harbor remains an active naval site and contains historical artifacts and potentially unexploded ordnance from World War II.

Dress comfortably. Wear shoes if your tour will involve extensive walking. If you will be visiting Pearl Harbor, the Pearl Harbor management requests that you wear a top and bottom (no bikinis, etc.) and closed-toed shoes. If you will be participating in a tour that will be making beach or swimming stops, please bring beach shoes such as flip-flops, a change of clothes, and a towel.
Our tours are available every day of the year. However, please note that most popular facilities, including Pearl Harbor, are closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
To ensure you don’t miss out on any part of your tour, we start and end tours at your accommodations. Your tour guide will be sharing historical information on the way to Pearl Harbor and the tour is completed on the way back to your accommodations.
Cameras are allowed into Pearl Harbor but no camera bags may accompany them.
Pearl Harbor has a strict “no bag” policy to ensure the safety of visitors and staff. Anything with a zipper that can hide contraband items, including diaper bags, purses, fanny-packs, camera bags, backpacks, luggage, etc., are prohibited. A bag check station will be available where you can store your belongings for a fee of $3 per bag.
